  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PLK3 (Polo-like kinase 3) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, DNA damage response, and apoptosis. It is a member of the Polo-like kinase family, which is known for its involvement in mitotic regulation and the maintenance of genomic integrity. Research on PLK3 has garnered interest due to its potential implications in cancer biology, as dysregulation of PLK3 expression or activity is often linked to tumorigenesis. Furthermore, studies have suggested that PLK3 may have a dual role, acting as a tumor suppressor in certain contexts while promoting cancer progression in others. The characterization of recombinant PLK3 protein is vital for understanding its structure-function relationships and downstream signaling pathways. By producing recombinant PLK3 in suitable expression systems, researchers can purify the protein to a high degree and use it for biochemical assays, structural studies, and functional analyses. Such studies may reveal how PLK3 interacts with other cellular proteins, how its activity is regulated, and its precise role in cellular contexts related to cancer and other diseases. Overall, research on recombinant PLK3 protein contributes to a comprehensive understanding of its biological significance and potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment.
