Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C20orf118, a gene located on chromosome 20, has been identified as a potential player in various cellular processes due to its role in cell signaling and metabolism. Research has indicated that C20orf118 may be involved in the regulation of neurodevelopment and could have implications in neurological disorders. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of C20orf118 protein to elucidate its structure and function. The recombinant protein is essential for conducting biochemical assays and cellular models that aim to determine its interactions with other proteins and its role in signaling pathways. Furthermore, understanding the biochemical properties of C20orf118 could provide insights into its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis or a target for therapeutic intervention. Given the limited knowledge about this protein and its systemic roles, ongoing research is critical for revealing the underlying mechanisms that may contribute to its involvement in health and disease. This highlights the importance of C20orf118 in the broader context of molecular biology and its relevance in the study of complex diseases, making it a promising focus for future investigations.
