稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCRF1, a viral protein encoded by the human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6), has garnered significant attention in the field of virology and immunology due to its intriguing role in immune evasion and potential implications in disease pathology. HHV-6, known for its widespread prevalence and association with various clinical conditions, including pediatric roseola and chronic fatigue syndrome, produces BCRF1 as a means to manipulate host immune responses. This protein functions as a potent cytokine mimic, specifically resembling human interleukin-10 (IL-10), which is crucial for regulating immune responses. By binding to the IL-10 receptor, BCRF1 can downregulate pro-inflammatory cytokines and promote a state of immune tolerance, enabling the virus to persist and evade host defenses. The study of BCRF1, particularly its structure-function relationships and interaction with host immune components, holds promise for uncovering new therapeutic targets and strategies for managing HHV-6-associated diseases. Moreover, understanding BCRF1’s mechanisms can provide insights into broader viral strategies of immune modulation, potentially informing vaccine development and treatment modalities for related viral infections. As research progresses, the recombinant expression of BCRF1 in vitro allows for detailed investigation of its biological functions and the development of novel assays to study its effects on the immune system, paving the way for advancements in therapeutic interventions. The significance of BCRF1 in the context of HHV-6 pathology underscores the need for continued exploration of its biological effects and therapeutic potential.
