Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Plxdc1, or Plexin D1, is a member of the plexin family of receptors, which play crucial roles in various biological processes, including cell signaling, immune response, and neurodevelopment. Research over the past few years has identified Plxdc1 as a key player in modulating cellular interactions and influencing the behavior of immune cells, particularly in the context of inflammatory diseases and cancer. The protein is known to interact with semaphorins, which are signaling molecules that guide the migration and positioning of cells during development and tissue repair. Recent studies have demonstrated that the manipulation of Plxdc1 levels can significantly alter immune responses, which has potential therapeutic implications for autoimmune disorders and tumor immunotherapy. However, the functional mechanisms of Plxdc1 remain incompletely understood, necessitating further investigation into its structural properties and signaling pathways. The production of recombinant Plxdc1 proteins allows researchers to probe these mechanisms more effectively, enabling the exploration of its role in cellular dynamics and potential as a therapeutic target. Advances in recombinant protein technology are crucial for elucidating the functional aspects of Plxdc1, offering insights that could lead to novel treatment strategies for diseases where immune regulation is disrupted.
