Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CALB (calbindin) is a calcium-binding protein that plays a crucial role in calcium homeostasis and signaling in various biological processes. Research into CALB recombinant proteins has gained momentum due to their potential applications in neuroscience, cell biology, and therapeutic development. The ability of CALB to bind calcium ions not only helps in regulating intracellular calcium levels but also influences neuronal excitability and synaptic plasticity, making it a key focus in the study of neural functions and neurodegenerative diseases. Recombinant CALB is often produced using advanced molecular biology techniques to facilitate detailed investigations into its structure-function relationships, as well as its interactions with other proteins and ions. This research is particularly relevant in understanding calcium-related disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, where impaired calcium signaling is implicated. Furthermore, the engineering of CALB can lead to novel biomaterials and drug delivery systems, enhancing its biomedical relevance. Ongoing studies aim to elucidate the physiological roles of CALB and develop innovative therapeutic strategies targeting calcium dysregulation in various diseases, highlighting the importance of CALB recombinant proteins in advancing our understanding of calcium biology and its implications for human health.
