Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The PCM1 protein, or Pericentriolar Material 1, plays a crucial role in cellular organization and function, particularly in the context of the centrosome and cilia. Research into PCM1 has gained significance due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, microtubule organization, and signaling pathways. Recent studies have highlighted its essential function in maintaining centrosome integrity and facilitating the assembly of cilia, which are vital for cellular communication and signaling. Abnormalities in PCM1 expression or function have been linked to several diseases, including cancer and ciliopathies, thus underscoring the importance of understanding its molecular mechanisms. Experimental investigations, including the generation of recombinant PCM1 proteins, have allowed researchers to dissect its structure-function relationships and interactions with other cellular components. These studies not only enhance our comprehension of PCM1's biological roles but also pave the way for potential therapeutic targets, as modulating PCM1 activity may offer new strategies for treating related diseases. Overall, PCM1 continues to be a focal point of research aimed at unraveling complex cellular dynamics and disease mechanisms associated with centrosomal and ciliary functions.
