Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MUC20 is a type of membrane-associated mucin that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell signaling, adhesion, and the protection of epithelial tissues. Its expression has been linked to various pathological conditions, including cancer and inflammatory diseases. Research into MUC20 has gained momentum due to its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. The study of recombinant MUC20 protein is particularly important as it allows for in-depth analysis of its structure, function, and interactions with other molecules. By producing MUC20 in a recombinant form, researchers can obtain large quantities of pure protein, facilitating studies on its immunological properties and the development of specific antibodies. This research may lead to a better understanding of how MUC20 contributes to disease mechanisms, ultimately paving the way for novel diagnostic tools and targeted therapies. Additionally, the exploration of MUC20's role in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions could provide insights into tumor progression and metastasis, making it a promising subject for future investigations in both basic and applied biomedical research. Overall, the study of recombinant MUC20 protein holds significant potential in enhancing our understanding of its biological functions and therapeutic applications.
