Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAMTS1 (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase with Thrombospondin Motifs 1) is a member of the ADAMTS family, which plays critical roles in extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling and is implicated in various physiological and pathological processes. It is primarily involved in the cleavage of aggrecan, a major component of cartilage, and has been associated with the regulation of angiogenesis and tumor progression. Studies have shown that ADAMTS1 expression is modulated in various diseases, including cancer, where it can influence tumor microenvironment and metastasis. Its dual role as both a promoter and inhibitor of angiogenesis highlights its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant protein form of ADAMTS1 is essential for investigating its functional roles, interactions with other ECM components, and potential as a biomarker. By producing ADAMTS1 in a recombinant manner, researchers can study its enzymatic activity, protein structure, and implications in disease models, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies in cancer and other ECM-related disorders. Understanding the molecular mechanics of ADAMTS1 through recombinant protein studies may provide insights into its regulatory functions and therapeutic potential in modulating tissue repair and pathological conditions.
