Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DSPP (dentin sialophosphoprotein) is a highly abundant extracellular matrix protein primarily found in the dental tissues, playing a crucial role in the formation and maintenance of dentin, the hard tissue beneath the enamel. Research has revealed that DSPP is involved in the regulation of dental mineralization processes and serves as a critical component for dental tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Mutations in the DSPP gene have been linked to various dental abnormalities, including dentinogenesis imperfecta, highlighting its importance in tooth development and health. The study of DSPP recombined proteins aims to explore its structure-function relationships and the molecular mechanisms underlying dental mineralization. By producing recombinant DSPP, researchers can investigate its properties in detail, paving the way for potential applications in both basic research and clinical therapies. Understanding the functionality of DSPP may contribute to novel regenerative strategies for dental tissue repair and inform the development of biomimetic materials that replicate natural dental structures. Given its significance, the ongoing investigation into DSPP's role in dental biology holds promise for advancements in restorative dentistry and personalized dental treatments.
