Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GDPD5, or glycerophosphodiester phosphodiesterase domain-containing protein 5, is an enzyme that has garnered significant attention in molecular biology and biomedical research due to its potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. This enzyme is involved in the hydrolysis of glycerophosphodiesters, which are key intermediates in lipid metabolism and membrane dynamics. Dysregulation of GDPD5 has been implicated in several diseases, including neurological disorders and cancers. Research into GDPD5 focuses on understanding its structure, function, and interactions at the molecular level. Studies have indicated that GDPD5 may play a role in regulating cellular signaling pathways and lipid metabolism, making it a potential biomarker for disease states. Furthermore, investigating GDPD5 could reveal novel therapeutic targets, especially in oncological settings where lipid metabolism is often altered. Overall, the study of GDPD5 is crucial for elucidating its biological functions and the implications of its dysregulation in health and disease.
