Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Wnt5a is a member of the Wnt family of secreted glycoproteins that play crucial roles in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. It is particularly known for its involvement in the non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for developmental processes and tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of Wnt5a signaling has been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer, where it can influence tumor progression and metastasis. Research has focused on the recombinant protein form of Wnt5a for its potential therapeutic applications and as a tool for studying its signaling mechanisms. By generating recombinant Wnt5a proteins, researchers aim to elucidate its role in cellular crosstalk and understand the intricate balance of Wnt signaling pathways. Furthermore, Wnt5a's involvement in neural development and its implications in neurodegenerative diseases have spurred interest in its functional properties, leading to investigations into its effects on neuronal survival and repair. Overall, the study of recombinant Wnt5a protein holds promise for advancing our understanding of developmental biology and disease mechanisms, potentially paving the way for novel therapeutic interventions.
