Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CRMP-5 (Collapsin Response Mediator Protein 5) is a crucial protein involved in neuronal development and axon guidance, playing a significant role in the nervous system's functioning. This protein is part of the collapsin response mediator protein family, which is known to interact with receptors and signaling pathways that regulate neuron growth, differentiation, and survival. Aberrant expression or dysfunction of CRMP-5 has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and epilepsy, highlighting its importance in maintaining cognitive and motor functions. The study of CRMP-5 recombinant protein is essential for understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its interactions with other proteins and cellular components. By generating recombinant CRMP-5, researchers aim to explore its role in neurodevelopmental processes and its potential as a therapeutic target for neurological diseases. Furthermore, unravelling the molecular mechanisms underlying CRMP-5’s action may offer insights into developing novel treatments for conditions associated with neural circuit disruption. Thus, CRMP-5 recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool in neuroscience research, with implications for both basic science and clinical applications.
