Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IPO5 (Importin 5) is a member of the importin family of proteins that plays a crucial role in the nucleocytoplasmic transport of macromolecules, particularly proteins and RNA. Research into IPO5 has gained traction due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including the regulation of gene expression and cell cycle progression. Recent studies have implicated IPO5 in several diseases, including cancer, where it may affect tumor growth and metastasis by modulating the localization of key regulatory proteins. Additionally, IPO5 has been shown to facilitate the nuclear import of specific signaling molecules, revealing its significance in pathways associated with cell proliferation and survival. Understanding the structure and function of IPO5 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its mechanistic roles and interactions within the cell. Moreover, the ability to produce IPO5 in a recombinant form is essential for biochemical assays and structural biology studies, paving the way for the potential development of therapeutic strategies targeting its function. Given its relevance to both fundamental biology and clinical implications, the research on IPO5 and its recombinant protein forms is of significant interest to scientists aiming to elucidate the complexities of cellular transport mechanisms and their impact on health and disease.
