Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAPK7, also known as Extracellular Signal-Regulated Kinase 5 (ERK5), is a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family, which plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and survival. The research surrounding MAPK7 has gained momentum due to its involvement in a variety of pathological conditions, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. Unlike other MAPK pathways, MAPK7 is distinguished by its unique structure and prolonged activation, which allows it to regulate distinct downstream targets and signaling networks. This has opened new avenues for therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating MAPK7 activity in disease contexts. Moreover, the production and characterization of recombinant MAPK7 proteins are crucial for deciphering its functional mechanisms and interactions within cellular pathways. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology and expression systems, researchers can generate MAPK7 in sufficient quantities for biochemical studies, including kinase activity assays, substrate identification, and structural analysis. Understanding the detailed biochemistry and signaling pathways of MAPK7 can offer insights into its role in health and disease, potentially leading to innovative treatments targeting this kinase. Overall, ongoing research on recombinant MAPK7 holds promise for unraveling its complex biology and developing targeted interventions in various diseases where MAPK7 is implicated.
