Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDKN1A, also known as p21, is a critical regulator of the cell cycle and a key player in the response to DNA damage. It is encoded by the CDKN1A gene, which is induced by p53 in response to cellular stress, such as DNA damage, thereby acting as a potent inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and causing cell cycle arrest. This function is crucial for maintaining genomic integrity and preventing tumorigenesis. The study of CDKN1A recombinant proteins is vital for understanding its structural and functional characteristics, which may elucidate its role in cancer biology and therapeutic resistance. Furthermore, recombinant CDKN1A can serve as a valuable tool in drug development, allowing researchers to explore potential inhibitors or activators that influence p21's interaction with CDKs and other cell cycle regulators. Additionally, insights gained from CDKN1A protein studies may contribute to the design of targeted therapies aimed at restoring normal cell cycle control in cancer cells. Overall, the research on CDKN1A recombinant protein offers significant implications for cancer research and therapeutic strategies, highlighting its importance as a focal point in the quest for effective cancer treatment modalities.
