Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NCAM2 (Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule 2) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a crucial role in neuronal development and synaptic plasticity. It is predominantly expressed in the nervous system and is involved in processes such as cell adhesion, neuronal migration, and the formation of synapses. Dysregulation of NCAM2 has been implicated in various neurodevelopmental disorders and psychiatric conditions, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. Research on NCAM2 recombinant proteins has gained traction due to their potential applications in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions. Creating and characterizing NCAM2 recombinant proteins allows scientists to explore their functional roles in cellular contexts, investigate their involvement in cell signaling pathways, and evaluate their interactions with other proteins. Furthermore, these studies can inform the design of therapeutics targeting NCAM2 pathways, which may offer novel strategies for treating neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders. The advancement of techniques such as protein engineering and structural biology enhances the ability to dissect the specific functions of NCAM2, leading to a deeper understanding of its contribution to neural function and development. Overall, the study of NCAM2 recombinant proteins represents a promising avenue for elucidating its biological significance and addressing the challenges posed by related neurological conditions.
