Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GDF10 (Growth Differentiation Factor 10) is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily, primarily known for its roles in cellular differentiation, growth regulation, and tissue homeostasis. Research has indicated that GDF10 plays a pivotal role in various biological processes, including neuroprotection, cardiac development, and anti-inflammatory responses. It has garnered attention for its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases and cardiovascular disorders. The recombinant form of GDF10 has been developed to enable detailed studies of its biological functions and mechanisms. Previous studies suggest that GDF10 can promote neuronal survival and has potential implications in enhancing neuronal repair mechanisms. Additionally, its anti-inflammatory properties may offer new avenues for treatments aimed at conditions characterized by excessive inflammation. The production of GDF10 as a recombinant protein allows for high-purity preparations suitable for in vitro and in vivo studies, facilitating the exploration of its therapeutic potential. Ongoing research is focused on elucidating the detailed signaling pathways involved in GDF10 action, optimizing its delivery methods, and assessing its efficacy in preclinical models. Through these efforts, GDF10 is being positioned as a promising candidate for developing novel therapies aimed at regenerative medicine and the treatment of diseases associated with cellular dysfunction.
