Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TAP1, or Transporter Associated with Antigen Processing 1, is a crucial component in the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I pathway, which plays a vital role in the immune response by presenting peptides derived from intracellular proteins to CD8+ T cells. As a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, TAP1 is essential for the translocation of these peptide antigens into the endoplasmic reticulum, where they can be loaded onto MHC class I molecules. Research into TAP1 recombinant protein has gained traction due to its potential applications in vaccine development, immunotherapy, and understanding immune evasion mechanisms employed by various pathogens and tumors. By studying TAP1's structure and function, scientists aim to elucidate the intricacies of antigen presentation and the subsequent activation of T cells. Furthermore, TAP1 deficiencies have been linked to certain immunodeficiency diseases, making it a critical target for investigating genetic variations that affect immune responses. Recombinant TAP1 proteins can be produced and used in experimental setups to analyze binding affinities with different peptides, assess their stability, and test their functional efficacy in various cellular models. This research not only enhances our understanding of the fundamental processes in cellular immunity but also paves the way for innovative therapeutic strategies that could enhance immune recognition of cancer cells and boost vaccine effectiveness against infectious diseases. As such, TAP1 continues to be a focal point in immunology research, contributing to a deeper understanding of the complex interplay between the immune system and various biological threats.
