Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LOXL4 (Lysyl Oxidase-like 4) is a member of the lysyl oxidase (LOX) family, which plays a crucial role in extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes. Research on LOXL4 has gained momentum due to its potential involvement in fibrotic diseases, cancer progression, and cardiovascular disorders. Unlike other LOX family members, LOXL4 exhibits unique substrate specificity and tissue distribution, suggesting distinct biological functions. Its expression is tightly regulated during development, and aberrant expression has been associated with tissue fibrosis and tumorigenesis. Recombination protein studies of LOXL4 aim to elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms and interactions with ECM components, as well as its regulatory pathways. Understanding LOXL4’s structure and function could reveal novel therapeutic targets for managing diseases characterized by abnormal ECM remodeling. Therefore, LOXL4 recombinant protein research is pivotal for advancing our knowledge of ECM biology and developing strategies to combat related diseases. By employing various experimental techniques such as enzyme assays, protein-protein interaction assays, and in vivo animal models, researchers aim to dissect the multifaceted roles of LOXL4 in health and disease, thereby uncovering its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in clinical settings.
