稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CX31, or Connexin 31, is a member of the connexin protein family, which forms gap junctions critical for intercellular communication. These channels allow for the direct transfer of ions and small molecules between neighboring cells, playing vital roles in various physiological processes, including cellular signaling, tissue homeostasis, and synchronization of cellular activities. Mutations in the CX31 gene have been implicated in several diseases, notably skin disorders such as non-syndromic hearing loss and skin disorders like erythrokeratodermia variabilis. Research on CX31 recombinant proteins has become increasingly significant in understanding its functional mechanisms and therapeutic applications. By studying the structure and function of CX31, researchers aim to elucidate the role of gap junctions in maintaining tissue integrity and their potential involvement in disease pathology. Additionally, recombinant CX31 proteins serve as valuable tools for investigating the impact of specific mutations on channel functionality and for developing targeted therapies to restore gap junction communication in affected tissues. Overall, the study of CX31 and its recombinant forms provides essential insights into cell communication, genetic disorders, and potential clinical interventions.
