Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FKBP6, or FK506 Binding Protein 6, is a member of the immunophilin family, known for its role in protein folding and chaperone activity. It has attracted significant interest in the realm of molecular biology and pharmacology due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including signal transduction and the regulation of protein degradation pathways. Understanding FKBP6's function has implications in numerous diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders and cancers, where protein misfolding and aggregation play crucial roles. Previous studies have highlighted FKBP6's potential as a therapeutic target, and its reconstitution as a recombinant protein is essential for investigating its structure-function relationships and interactions with other cellular components. The recombinant FKBP6 protein allows researchers to delve deeper into its biochemical properties, elucidate its mechanisms of action, and evaluate its efficacy in modulating related pathways. Additionally, studying FKBP6 in a controlled experimental setting can shed light on its potential as a biomarker for disease progression and treatment response, paving the way for future therapeutic strategies. Thus, the investigation of FKBP6 as a recombinant protein serves as a critical foundation for advancing our understanding of its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
