  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HOOK3, a member of theHOOK protein family, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including intracellular transport and organelle dynamics. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and its potential involvement in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. The protein is known for its ability to interact with microtubules and facilitate the movement of organelles, such as lysosomes and endosomes, within cells. Understanding the structural and functional properties of HOOK3 is essential for elucidating its mechanisms of action and its roles in health and disease. Research into HOOK3 restructured proteins has gained momentum as scientists aim to uncover the molecular pathways it influences. By employing advanced techniques such as crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy, researchers are investigating the protein's structure-function relationships to develop potential therapeutic targets. Furthermore, the study of HOOK3's interactions with other cellular components may provide insights into the complex network of signaling pathways that govern cell function. As we advance our understanding of HOOK3 and its restructured forms, it opens avenues for novel interventions in diseases characterized by cellular transport dysregulation, making it a significant focus in the field of molecular and cellular biology.
