Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KIRREL3, or Kin of IRRE like protein 3, is a member of the KIRREL family, which plays significant roles in neuronal development and the formation of synapses. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in various neurodevelopmental processes and its potential implications in neuropsychiatric disorders. Researchers have focused on KIRREL3's function in cell adhesion and interaction with other proteins, which are crucial for establishing and maintaining synaptic integrity. Given its importance in neural connectivity, KIRREL3 has emerged as a candidate for studying synaptic dysfunction associated with conditions like autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and schizophrenia. The production of recombinant KIRREL3 protein allows for detailed investigations into its structural and functional properties, facilitating insights into its mechanisms of action in neuronal networks. By employing techniques such as crystallography and biochemical assays, scientists aim to elucidate how KIRREL3 mediates cellular signaling and adhesion. Understanding the molecular dynamics of KIRREL3 could pave the way for new therapeutic strategies targeting synaptic impairments, ultimately addressing the gaps in our knowledge regarding its role in both normal brain function and neurodevelopmental diseases. Furthermore, the development of KIRREL3-specific antibodies and assays may provide tools for the study of its expression patterns in various brain regions and developmental stages, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of its biological significance.
