Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYP-40, a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily, plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including metabolism and drug processing. Its unique structure and function make it an interesting target for research, particularly in the fields of pharmacology and toxicology. The interest in CYP-40 arises from its potential implications in the metabolism of both endogenous compounds and exogenous pharmaceuticals, which can significantly impact drug efficacy and toxicity. Recent studies have indicated that CYP-40 may be involved in the metabolism of specific therapeutic agents, thereby influencing their therapeutic outcomes and side effects. Additionally, its role in the detoxification of harmful substances highlights its relevance in environmental health and disease prevention. Researchers are increasingly focused on elucidating the mechanisms by which CYP-40 interacts with various substrates and how it is regulated, which could lead to novel therapeutic approaches and improved drug design. Understanding the functional dynamics of CYP-40 is essential for advancing personalized medicine, particularly in optimizing drug regimens based on individual metabolic profiles. Consequently, the study of CYP-40 recombinant proteins not only provides insight into its enzymatic functions but also contributes to the overarching goal of enhancing drug safety and efficiency in clinical applications.
