Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LMBRD1 (L-exporter membrane protein 1) is a critical protein implicated in the cellular uptake and transport of various compounds, including the essential vitamin B12. Given its significant role in maintaining intracellular levels of cobalamin, research on LMBRD1 has gained momentum in recent years, particularly in the context of cellular metabolism and nutrient transport. Aberrant expression or dysfunction of LMBRD1 has been linked to several health issues, including neurological disorders and certain cancers, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Moreover, understanding the structure and function of LMBRD1 can provide insights into its mechanisms of action within the cellular membrane and its interactions with other proteins. The recombinant expression of LMBRD1 offers a valuable approach to dissect its functional roles, enabling the study of its biological activities in vitro and facilitating structural analyses. These insights could contribute to developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating LMBRD1 activity, thereby impacting nutrient absorption and metabolism in human health and disease. Consequently, characterizing LMBRD1 as a recombinantly expressed protein is a pivotal step toward uncovering its physiological significance and potential applications in biomedicine.
