Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NDRG2 (N-myc downstream-regulated gene 2) is a member of the NDRG family of proteins, which are implicated in various cellular processes, including differentiation, growth inhibition, and stress responses. Altered expression of NDRG2 has been associated with several pathological conditions, including cancer, where it can function as a tumor suppressor, and neurodegenerative diseases, indicating its role in cellular homeostasis and survival. Studies have shown that NDRG2 can influence cancer cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis, making it a potential biomarker for prognosis and a target for therapeutic intervention. Researchers have focused on recombinant NDRG2 protein to elucidate its function and mechanism of action at the molecular level. By producing and characterizing this protein, scientists aim to explore its structural properties, interactions with other proteins, and its influence on signaling pathways. Understanding the functional roles of NDRG2 through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its involvement in disease pathology and reveal new avenues for targeted therapies, particularly in cancers where NDRG2 expression is disrupted. Overall, the investigation of NDRG2 as a recombinant protein represents a significant step toward unraveling its biological significance and therapeutic potential in various diseases.
