Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
METTL21C, a member of the METTL family of methyltransferases, has garnered significant attention due to its potential roles in various physiological processes and disease states. It is involved in the modification of specific proteins through methylation, a crucial post-translational modification that can influence protein stability, localization, and activity. Research has indicated that METTL21C may play a role in cellular stress responses, development, and immune regulation. Furthermore, aberrant expression or malfunction of METTL21C has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Understanding the precise mechanisms by which METTL21C exerts its effects at the molecular level could provide insights into therapeutic targets and biomarker development. Recent studies are focusing on unraveling the structural characteristics and substrate specificity of METTL21C, which will contribute to a broader understanding of its functional significance in health and disease. This background underscores the importance of METTL21C in the context of methylation biology, highlighting the need for continued research to elucidate its complex roles within cellular systems.
