Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NRGN (Neurogranin) is a prominent protein predominantly expressed in the brain, particularly in the postsynaptic terminals of neurons. It plays a critical role in synaptic plasticity and cognitive processes, including learning and memory. The study of NRGN recombinant proteins has gained importance due to their potential implications in neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive disorders. Researchers are particularly interested in how alterations in NRGN expression and function may contribute to conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia. Recombinant NRGN proteins are being developed to better elucidate their biological functions and interactions within the synaptic environment, thereby enhancing our understanding of neuronal signaling pathways. Furthermore, these studies aim to identify potential therapeutic targets, as modulating NRGN levels could pave the way for novel treatment strategies aimed at improving cognitive function in affected individuals. Continued exploration of NRGN recombinant protein applications may lead to breakthroughs in the development of biomarkers for early diagnosis and advanced treatments for neuropsychiatric conditions.
