Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of EsxT, a protein associated with the mycobacterial genus, has garnered interest due to its implications in tuberculosis (TB) pathogenesis and immune response. EsxT is part of the Type VII secretion system, which plays a crucial role in the virulence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) and other mycobacteria. This secretion system is involved in transporting effector proteins that can modulate host immune responses and enhance bacterial survival within macrophages. Understanding EsxT's structure, function, and the mechanism of its secretion can provide insights into how Mtb evades the host's immune system and establishes persistent infections. Recent studies have indicated that EsxT might also influence macrophage polarization and cytokine production, further complicating the host-pathogen interaction. As TB remains a global health crisis, with rising antibiotic resistance and high mortality rates, elucidating the role of EsxT in mycobacterial pathogenesis could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies and vaccines. Consequently, research into EsxT and its associated pathways is essential for developing a deeper understanding of TB biology and finding new avenues for intervention.
