Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on Igk recombinant proteins focuses on the immunoglobulin kappa (Igk) light chain, a crucial component of antibodies in the immune system. Antibodies are essential for recognizing and neutralizing pathogens, and the diversity of these proteins allows the immune system to respond effectively to a wide array of threats. Igk chains, along with heavy chains, contribute to the formation of functional and diverse antibody molecules. The study of Igk recombinant proteins has gained attention due to their potential applications in therapeutic antibodies, diagnostics, and vaccines. Techniques such as recombinant DNA technology enable the production of Igk light chains in various systems, allowing researchers to investigate their structure, function, and interactions with antigens. Understanding the properties of these recombinant proteins can lead to improved antibody engineering, enhancing immune responses and offering new strategies for treating diseases like infections, cancers, and autoimmune disorders. Additionally, insights into the mechanisms of antibody production and maturation from Igk genes contribute to the broader understanding of immunology and may pave the way for innovative approaches in personalized medicine. As a result, Igk recombinant protein research is pivotal in advancing both fundamental and applied aspects of immunology and biotherapeutics.
