Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PARP2, or Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 2, is a key enzyme involved in the cellular response to DNA damage. It plays a critical role in the repair of single-strand breaks and is also implicated in various cellular processes such as transcription regulation, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. The importance of PARP2 in maintaining genomic stability has garnered significant attention in cancer research, particularly due to its potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment, especially in tumors with BRCA1/2 mutations. Unlike its well-studied counterpart PARP1, PARP2 has been less explored, leading to a growing interest in the functional characterization of PARP2 and its role in cellular pathways. The study of recombinant PARP2 proteins can provide insights into the enzyme's catalytic mechanisms, substrate specificity, and interactions with other proteins involved in DNA repair pathways. Understanding the biochemical properties and functional significance of PARP2 may contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing the efficacy of existing cancer treatments, particularly in precision medicine approaches that exploit the vulnerabilities of cancer cells. This growing body of research holds promise for advancing our knowledge of DNA repair mechanisms and identifying new targets for intervention in cancer progression and resistance to therapy.
