Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABL2, a member of the Abelson family of tyrosine kinases, has gained attention in recent years due to its role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Unlike its closely related counterpart, ABL1, which has been extensively studied for its role in chronic myelogenous leukemia and other malignancies, the functional significance of ABL2 is still being elucidated. Research indicates that ABL2 is involved in the regulation of the cytoskeleton and promotes cellular responses to stress, suggesting its potential implications in cancer progression and metastasis. Studies have also highlighted ABL2's role in immune responses and its potential involvement in autoimmune diseases. The generation of recombinant ABL2 proteins has enabled in-depth investigations into its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular proteins, and its mechanistic roles in signaling pathways. Understanding ABL2's specific functions and regulatory mechanisms could provide insights into novel therapeutic targets for cancer and other diseases where ABL2 activity is altered. As researchers continue to explore ABL2’s functions through structural biology and biochemical assays, the hope is to clarify its contribution to normal physiology as well as its pathological implications in various diseases.
