Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TPK1, or Thymidine Phosphorylase Kinase 1, is a vital enzyme involved in nucleotide metabolism, playing a crucial role in the salvage pathway of thymidine and influencing cellular responses to various stressors, including oxidative stress. The interest in TPK1 recombinant protein has surged in recent years due to its potential implications in cancer biology and therapeutic applications. Elevated levels of TPK1 have been associated with increased tumorigenicity and resistance to chemotherapeutic agents, making it a significant target for drug development and biomarker identification. Furthermore, TPK1's involvement in the regulation of angiogenesis highlights its importance in tumor progression and metastasis. The production of recombinant TPK1 allows for in-depth studies into its structure-function relationships, enabling researchers to explore its enzymatic mechanisms and interactions with substrates, inhibitors, and other cellular components. By utilizing recombinant technology, scientists can generate large quantities of pure TPK1 for biochemical assays, structural analyses, and potential therapeutic interventions. Understanding the intricacies of TPK1's role could not only advance our knowledge of tumor biology but also pave the way for innovative strategies in cancer treatment and management. Therefore, the study of TPK1 recombinant protein is pivotal in both basic research and the development of future therapeutic approaches targeting malignancies linked to dysregulated nucleotide metabolism and cellular stress responses.
