Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRRX2, a member of the paired-like homeobox protein family, plays a critical role in various biological processes, including embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue regeneration. Dysregulation of PRRX2 has been implicated in several pathologies, particularly in cancer, where it can influence tumor progression and metastasis. Research has shown that PRRX2 acts as a transcription factor, modulating the expression of target genes involved in epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), a key process in cancer metastasis. The study of PRRX2 recombinant proteins is pivotal for understanding its functional mechanisms and interactions at the molecular level. Recombinant PRRX2 can be produced using various expression systems, allowing for detailed functional assays and structural characterization. Investigating PRRX2 through recombinant techniques not only aids in elucidating its biological roles but also offers insight into its potential as a therapeutic target. Given the growing evidence of PRRX2's involvement in cancer and stem cell biology, the development of PRRX2-based recombinant proteins holds promise in advancing cancer research and therapeutic strategies, particularly in targeting EMT-related pathways. This line of inquiry is essential for harnessing the full potential of PRRX2 in both basic and applied biomedical research, particularly for developing novel approaches in cancer treatment.
