Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2 (IGFBP2) is a key regulator of insulin-like growth factor (IGF) signaling, which plays a crucial role in cellular growth, differentiation, and survival. The aberrant expression of IGFBP2 has been linked to various pathological conditions, including cancer, diabetes, and metabolic disorders. Research has revealed that IGFBP2 can either inhibit or promote tumor growth depending on the cellular context, making it a potential biomarker for disease prognosis and a target for therapeutic interventions. The production of recombinant IGFBP2 protein has become important for advancing our understanding of its biological functions and interactions with IGFs and other signaling pathways. This recombinant protein is utilized in various in vitro and in vivo studies to elucidate the mechanisms by which IGFBP2 influences cell behavior and to assess its potential as a therapeutic agent. Additionally, the development of IGFBP2-targeted therapies is being explored in preclinical models, indicating its significance in the field of cancer treatment and metabolic research. Overall, the study of IGFBP2 recombinant protein is pivotal for both basic research and clinical applications, aiming to unlock new strategies for managing diseases associated with dysregulated IGF signaling.
