稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CPE (carboxypeptidase E) is a crucial enzyme involved in the processing of prohormones and neuropeptides, playing a significant role in regulating various physiological processes, including metabolism and hormone secretion. Its function is primarily linked to the maturation and activation of hormones such as insulin, which are vital for maintaining glucose homeostasis. In recent years, research has shifted towards understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying CPE’s enzymatic activity and its role in diseases, particularly obesity and diabetes. Studies have shown that mutations or dysregulation of CPE can lead to severe metabolic disorders, emphasizing the importance of this enzyme in endocrine function. Furthermore, the recombinant production of CPE allows for advanced studies into its structure-function relationships, facilitating the design of specific inhibitors or modulators that could serve as therapeutic agents. The recombinant protein can be produced in various expression systems, enabling detailed characterization and assessment of its biological activity. Overall, the investigation of CPE and its recombinant forms is pivotal for developing targeted treatments for metabolic diseases and enhancing our understanding of hormone regulation at the molecular level.
