Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The NSUN2 gene, encoding a member of the NSUN family of RNA methyltransferases, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its critical roles in cellular processes, particularly in RNA modification and gene regulation. NSUN2 is predominantly known for its role in the methylation of specific RNA molecules, which is vital for the stability, translation, and overall functionality of these RNAs. Dysregulation of NSUN2 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders, underscoring its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Research has shown that NSUN2 plays a crucial role in embryonic stem cell pluripotency and differentiation, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant protein production of NSUN2 allows for in-depth studies of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interaction with other cellular factors. Understanding the structure and function of NSUN2 through recombinant techniques not only advances our knowledge of RNA methylation but also provides insights into the broader implications of RNA modifications in health and disease. As a result, the research surrounding NSUN2 and its recombinant protein continues to expand, with promising avenues for developing novel strategies in precision medicine and regenerative therapies.
