Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAMTS16 (A Disintegrin And Metalloproteinase with Thrombospondin Motifs 16) is a member of the ADAMTS family of metalloproteinases, known for their roles in extracellular matrix remodeling and tissue homeostasis. Research on ADAMTS16 has gained importance due to its potential involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including development, cancer progression, and cardiovascular diseases. Genetic studies have linked mutations in the ADAMTS16 gene to conditions like kidney disease and congenital anomalies, highlighting its significance in human health. Moreover, the ability of ADAMTS16 to interact with other proteins, such as growth factors and matrix components, suggests its critical role in regulating cell behavior and tissue architecture. The recombinant expression of ADAMTS16 allows for a deeper understanding of its enzymatic activities and biological functions, facilitating investigations into its specific mechanisms of action. By producing ADAMTS16 in a controlled environment, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationships, assess its role in disease mechanisms, and explore its therapeutic potential. Understanding ADAMTS16 at the molecular level could lead to novel strategies for targeting related diseases, making it a compelling focus of research in biochemistry and molecular biology.
