Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANGPT2, or Angiopoietin-2, is a critical protein in the angiogenesis and vascular development process, playing a pivotal role in the regulation of blood vessel formation. It is known for its involvement in various physiological and pathological conditions, including inflammation, tumor growth, and cardiovascular diseases. Research has highlighted that ANGPT2 functions as a natural antagonist to Angiopoietin-1, leading to increased vascular permeability and promoting endothelial cell detachment. This duality highlights its potential as a therapeutic target, especially in cancer treatment and tissue engineering. The generation of recombinant ANGPT2 not only enhances our understanding of its biological functions but also facilitates the exploration of its role in disease mechanisms. By producing ANGPT2 in a controlled environment, scientists can investigate its interactions with other signaling pathways and assess its therapeutic efficacy in modulating angiogenesis. The study of ANGPT2 at the protein level opens avenues for developing innovative treatments that can manipulate blood vessel growth and improve outcomes in various diseases. Thus, ongoing research into ANGPT2 recombinant proteins signifies a significant stride toward novel therapeutic interventions in vascular biology and related diseases.
