Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDK2 (Cyclin-dependent kinase 2) is a critical enzyme that regulates the cell cycle, particularly the transition from G1 phase to S phase. Its activity is tightly controlled by cyclins and various regulatory proteins, making it a key player in cell proliferation and differentiation. Dysregulation of CDK2 has been implicated in various cancers, where its overexpression or hyperactivity can lead to uncontrolled cell division. The study of recombinant CDK2 proteins provides valuable insights into its structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms. By producing CDK2 in a laboratory setting, researchers can investigate the precise biochemical pathways it influences, screen for potential inhibitors, and explore its interactions with cyclins and other partners. Understanding these dynamics is essential for developing targeted cancer therapies that can selectively inhibit aberrant CDK2 activity. Moreover, the study of CDK2 recombinants contributes to the broader field of cell cycle research, enhancing our knowledge of cellular mechanisms and opening avenues for innovative therapeutic strategies. Overall, CDK2 and its recombinant forms remain a focus of intense research, bridging the gap between basic biological understanding and clinical application in cancer treatment.
