Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of NF2 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention due to their crucial role in understanding neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), a genetic disorder characterized by the development of vestibular schwannomas and other tumors. NF2 is caused by mutations in the NF2 gene, which encodes the merlin protein, a vital tumor suppressor involved in cell signaling, growth regulation, and contact inhibition. Research into NF2 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the loss of merlin function in tumorigenesis. By producing and studying these recombinant proteins, researchers can investigate their structural properties, interactions with other cellular proteins, and functional outcomes in various biological contexts. This knowledge is essential for identifying potential therapeutic targets and developing strategies to treat NF2-related tumors. Moreover, the use of NF2 recombinant proteins in experimental models has the potential to enhance our understanding of cellular pathways affected by merlin dysfunction, thereby providing insight into broader cancer biology. Overall, the investigation of NF2 recombinant proteins is a critical endeavor that bridges genetic research, molecular biology, and clinical applications, ultimately contributing to improved outcomes for patients affected by NF2.
