Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ESYT2, or extended synaptotagmin 2, is a member of the extended synaptotagmin family, which plays a crucial role in intracellular membrane trafficking and calcium-dependent exocytosis. Research has indicated that ESYT2 is involved in synaptic function, particularly in the regulation of lipid transport between membranes, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and neuronal communication. Dysregulation of ESYT2 has been linked to various neurological disorders, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in conditions such as autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia. The study of ESYT2 recombinant proteins is essential for elucidating its molecular mechanisms and interactions within the cell. By characterizing the structural and functional properties of ESYT2, researchers aim to deepen our understanding of synaptic physiology and identify potential pathways for drug development. Thus, this protein not only serves a fundamental biological purpose but also holds the promise of contributing to future advancements in treating neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders.
