Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the pituitary gland, playing a crucial role in regulating thyroid function and maintaining metabolic homeostasis. It exerts its effects by stimulating the thyroid gland to produce Thyroxine (T4) and Triiodothyronine (T3), hormones essential for growth, development, and overall metabolism. Abnormal TSH levels are linked to various thyroid disorders, including hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, which can lead to significant health complications. The study of recombinant TSH (rhTSH) has gained prominence as it offers a potential therapeutic avenue for patients requiring thyroid hormone replacement and for those undergoing thyroid cancer treatment. The production of rhTSH using biotechnological methods allows for a more controlled and purified form of the hormone, enhancing its efficacy and reducing the risk of adverse effects associated with animal-derived products. Additionally, research into rhTSH is crucial for developing diagnostic tools and treatments, as it provides insights into TSH’s structure-function relationship and its interactions with the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor. Consequently, understanding the biology and applications of recombinant TSH can significantly improve clinical outcomes for patients with thyroid dysfunction and provide a basis for novel therapeutic strategies in endocrinology.
