Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RBP7, or retinol-binding protein 7, is a member of the retinol-binding protein family, playing a significant role in the transport of retinoids, particularly vitamin A, within cells. Vitamin A is crucial for various physiological processes, including vision, immune function, and cellular differentiation. Research has shown that RBP7 is implicated in numerous biological processes, including embryonic development and the regulation of gene expression. Its expression is detected in various tissues, particularly in the brain and eye, suggesting its involvement in neurodevelopment and visual functions. Additionally, recent studies have indicated a potential link between RBP7 and certain diseases, including skin disorders and cancer, thereby highlighting its relevance in medical research. The recombinant expression of RBP7 offers a valuable tool for studying its biochemical properties, protein interactions, and functional roles in vivo. As recombinant technology advances, the production of RBP7 in heterologous systems allows researchers to investigate its structure-function relationships and therapeutic potential. Understanding RBP7's mechanisms of action and interaction with retinoids can pave the way for novel approaches in treating retinoid-related disorders and elucidating the complex pathways governing retinoid metabolism in health and disease.
