Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDH4, or Cadherin-4, is a member of the cadherin superfamily, which plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and is involved in various physiological processes, including tissue development and maintenance. Research into CDH4 has gained significance due to its potential implications in developmental biology and cancer metastasis. Cadherins are integral membrane proteins that mediate homophilic cell-cell adhesion, and alterations in their expression can lead to disruptions in cellular communication and tissue organization. CDH4 is particularly important in the nervous system, where it is involved in synaptic plasticity and neuron-neuron interactions. Understanding the functional mechanisms and molecular pathways associated with CDH4 can provide valuable insights into neurodevelopmental disorders and tumorigenesis. Recombining CDH4 for research purposes allows scientists to analyze its structure, binding properties, and interactions with other cellular components, furthering our comprehension of its role in normal and pathological conditions. Such studies not only pave the way for potential therapeutic targets but also enhance our understanding of how cell adhesion contributes to tissue integrity and stability. Moreover, the exploration of CDH4 can facilitate the development of biomarker strategies for diseases where cadherin misregulation is a hallmark, making it an essential focus in modern biomedical research.
