  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

FTSJ3, a member of the FTSJ family of proteins, is primarily known for its role in RNA processing and ribosomal RNA methylation. This protein is crucial in the formation and stability of ribosomes, which are essential for protein synthesis in all living cells. Understanding the structure and function of FTSJ3 has garnered significant interest in the research community, particularly because mutations or dysregulation of this protein have been implicated in various human diseases, including certain cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. Notably, FTSJ3 has been shown to interact with other ribosomal proteins and RNA, highlighting its involvement in the complex regulatory networks that govern cellular metabolism and growth. Recent studies have focused on recombinant expression and purification of FTSJ3 to further investigate its enzymatic activities and binding characteristics, as well as to explore potential therapeutic targets. The ongoing research aims to elucidate the precise mechanisms by which FTSJ3 contributes to ribosome biogenesis and cellular function, shedding light on its potential implications in disease states and the development of novel treatments.
