Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FUK protein, or Fructose-1-Phosphate Kinase, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its crucial role in fructose metabolism. Dysregulation of fructose metabolism has been implicated in various metabolic disorders, including obesity, insulin resistance, and diabetes. Research has shown that FUK is involved in the phosphorylation of fructose, a key step in leveraging this sugar as an energy source. Understanding the exact mechanisms by which FUK functions and how its activity is modulated can provide insights into metabolic pathways and identify potential therapeutic targets for treating metabolic diseases. Furthermore, recent advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of FUK in bacterial systems, facilitating the study of its structure and function. This recombinant approach not only allows for a deeper understanding of the protein's biochemical properties but also opens new avenues for developing diagnostic and therapeutic strategies aimed at metabolic health. The study of FUK protein, therefore, serves not only as a fundamental exploration of metabolic biochemistry but also holds significant implications for addressing the rising prevalence of metabolic disorders in contemporary society. As research continues to unfold, FUK protein is positioned at the intersection of basic science and clinical application, underscoring the importance of its study in the broader context of health and disease.
