Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAMTS8, a member of the ADAMTS (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase with Thrombospondin Motifs) family, plays a significant role in extracellular matrix remodeling and has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer and osteoarthritis. This enzyme's activity is characterized by its ability to cleave extracellular matrix components, influencing cellular behaviors such as migration, proliferation, and differentiation. Recent studies have highlighted the differential expression of ADAMTS8 in various tissues and its potential as a biomarker for certain diseases. Additionally, the unique expression patterns of ADAMTS8 in tumor tissues suggest a role in tumor progression, making it a target of interest for therapeutic strategies. Understanding the properties and functions of recombinant ADAMTS8 protein is critical for elucidating its biological role and therapeutic potential. By producing and characterizing this protein, researchers aim to investigate its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms, providing insights that could lead to the development of novel interventions for diseases associated with extracellular matrix dysregulation. These findings may contribute to a deeper understanding of ADAMTS8's involvement in health and disease, positioning it as a promising candidate for future therapeutic applications.
