Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCML4 (S-expressed gene in carcinoma 4) is a member of the Scm-like (SCML) protein family, which is characterized by the presence of a Scm domain that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including transcriptional regulation and chromatin remodeling. Research into SCML4 has gained interest due to its potential implications in cancer biology and development. Studies have shown that SCML4 is upregulated in several cancer types, suggesting a role in tumorigenesis and disease progression. Additionally, SCML4 is believed to be involved in epigenetic regulation and is associated with maintaining pluripotency in stem cells. The investigation of SCML4 recombinant proteins provides a valuable tool for understanding its functional properties, molecular interactions, and downstream effects in cellular pathways. Through techniques like protein expression and purification, researchers aim to elucidate the structure-function relationships of SCML4, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies targeting its aberrant activity in cancer. Overall, the study of SCML4 recombinant proteins is crucial for uncovering the biological significance of SCML4 in health and disease, contributing to our broader understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying cancer and development.
